Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold up. Burial. Four Tet. AND Thom Yorke?!!!?! SPLOOGE! The three have been loosely tied together through various remixes and collaborative (Burial and Four Tet) but I never saw this coming. All are AMAZING, ground-breaking artists and though it is supposed to be split with Burial on the A side (Ego) and Thom and Four Tet on the B side (Mirror) it certainly sounds as if everyone had a influence in both tracks. The 12" vinyl reportedly sold out instantly, but if you dig it you can sign-up to there mailing list and they'll inform you of re-stock. These tracks are just gorgeous and mind-blowing. Hope you enjoy.

I think this album, Cassadaga, and this song show another side of Bright Eyes that people who don't know the artists dont realize exists. I much prefer his folk/ country inspired music to his better known emo-esque work.



Animal Collective :: Peacebone
An amazing track. I love the dissonace and chaos in the begining and how it all vibrates into place forming this dancy frenetic hook that just circles around you until you're part of the frenzy. It's amazing, literally the song that got turned me on to Animal Collective. Also check out "My Gurls" for a great song set to an awesomely trippy video.
